Greyhound Family Tales: Hazel’s birthday ceremony: the candle represents the sun, each Ray is a month, and there’s a marker for the current month. Hazel started on September and carried a globe around the sun to represent each year of her life. As she circled each time, we shared a photo of her- from birth to 4 years old- and told a little story about her during that year. It was the most amazing experience!
