Greyhound Family Tales: Today was Hazel's official last day in Toddlers. I'm so grateful for the sweet teachers she's had up to this point and of whom we've grown so fond. Each transition is so difficult as we lose the daily interactions with teachers we love and who we know Hazel loves. On Monday, there will most likely be tears...for the babe that she was and the one she's becoming, for the teachers we won't see every day anymore but who have left such a big mark on Hazel as she's grown in their classes, and for the uncertainty of a new class, new teachers, and friends who aren't able to move up with her. We'll adapt and, I'm sure, grow comfortable with the new normal. But I hope each of Hazel's teachers knows how much we appreciate them and love them for everything they do, for how much they have taught her and helped her grow, and for loving our sweet Hazel every day while we're away. 💕
